Up for auction is a RARE 18th CENTURY CHINESE BLUE WHITE LOTUS FACETED BIRD FEEDER WATER POT KANGXI QIANLONG. This bird feeder is part of an extraordinary estate collection of rarely found bird feeders. The feeders are from the collection of the late William Lipton, whom was well known as a scholarly object collector that specialized in collecting bird feeders. We are told some examples from this collection have been published.
Unique design and faceted form dating from the Kangxi to earlier Qianlong period.
Condition: The feeder is in very fine condition with no damage or repairs. All items inspected under UV light to ensure no hidden damage.
Size: The bird feeder measures 1 7/8 inches wide including bird cage mount, by 1 1/4 inch wide and 1 1/4 inches tall.
