Gorgeous Antique Chinese Embroidery Panels And Child ' S Vest

I have collected antique Chinese embroidery for years, love it but I am simply a collector and appreciate the work which goes into these textiles, not an expert. Trying to sort things out a little, so I am letting a few of my treasures go. All definitely antique. There are 3 panels and a child's silk embroidered, lined vest.  This piece was given to me years ago by a friend whose grandfather was a missionary in China late 1800's, returning to the states in 1912 or so. He brought w...ith him a gorgeous carved chest filled with his treasures, one of which was this child's vest. It was new at the time, never worn, and never taken out of the chest. I always wanted to frame it, but have too much for my small house. The purple panel is perfect 54" by 7" and beautifully embroidered with butterflies and a floral design. Next is a very old piece which remains in great condition, I believe it is "the forbidden stitch", so finely embroidered on silk, 34" by 10", floral design, tiny hole near border, not on embroidery. Next panel, also very old, this one is 19" by 9", has some issues due to age, would still look great framed. Consider it a throw in. Free shipping USA only.
