ANTIQUE CHINESE FRAMED EMBROIDERED SILK PANEL GLAZED WOODEN TRAY BFLIES FLOWERS.This tray was obtained through an inherited estate.The tray has expected wear but still in great condition. The frame is wood, with black (glazed?) finish. It has a thin gold border (looks good) around the panel that separates the larger black border around it. The black part of the “border” has scuffs/scrapes/speckles and wear in places (please see photos). The embroideried panel is in beautiful condit...ion. It is multi-colored with blues, golds, greens, neutral colors and outlined in a beautiful golden stitch. The handles are heavy and very stable. The tray sits flat, as it should. I took pictures under different lighting, so you could see everything clearer. The tray (not including handles) is 23”x 8”x 1”. The embroidered panel (alone) is 18.5”x 3.5” I researched this item and had help from others that know about Asian antiques and collectibles.
