Vintage Crochet Lace Trim - Scalloped Crochet Pillowcase Lace Edging
This vintage offering of 2 piece lengths hand done scalloped crochet lace with cotton cut remnants of a cotton pillowcase, measures a continuous circle approx. 44-1/4" and 45-1/4" in length and 5" in width, the lace measures 1-3/4".The condition is in very good in unused condition, no stains, no rips in lace and the material is strong and sturd...y and ready for any project. I have not laundered these pieces, and have been in storage for decades. These two pieces have been cut and saved from pillowcases decades ago.
I believe these laces date from the 1930/40's. Great for craft projects. Likely made for pillowcase edging.
Use this lace in sewing or craft projects. Great to pretty up towels. Add some to clothing to give a fresh new look. Wonderful for pillowcases. Wonderful for little girl clothes or doll clothes. Can be gathered or used flat. A beautiful quality trim.
