Original Description:
Oriental High Gloss Lacquered Wood Tray VINTAGE, Hand Painted Japan Scenic.  Tree and 3 figures fishing in the foreground, a temple and mountain in the recess areas.  The first photo has been lightened for art work to show, the last photo is more accurate.  Beautiful painting!Tray measures 12 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 1/2".There is a mark on the bottom that isn't very clear but it appears to be from Foochowi China (see last enlarged photo).  A bit confusing since the front ce...rtainly appears to be Japanese.The artwork on the tray is complete and in very good condition, only light crazing lines.  There is chipping on the top and bottom edges of the tray, please view enlarged photos.  The overall condition is very good vintage. A good project to rehab or enjoy as is.
