The body is in blue glaze with raised gilt decoration, the handle is an off white ochre color in the form of a flying fish and the lip of the same hue... is in the form of a conch shell. The feet of the vessel are turtles and their is a crab under the front part of the shell lip . There are stones as eyes .16" high, 10" Wide.
Bottom of some of turtle's feet chipped but does not affect the stability of piece.Note: The history of this piece comes from Mrs. Hook's great grandson . Mrs Hook had a collection of over 1225 pitchers and was written up in Hobbies Magazine October 1940
