This auction is for a small antique Meerschaum tobacco smoking pipe. It is carved with a bird claw - it has been smoked, and there is also a small repair to the side of the bowl, which has gone quite dark. I would think this repair was done many years ago. It is nicely carved, and has a good stem. The fitted case is very good with good hinges and catch - it just has the usual surface rubbing on the outside, as to be expected with an item of this age, The pipe itself measures 95mm... in length and has a bowl inner diameter of 8mm.
