This Very Rare Daum France Butterfly is Double Signed Once by Daum France and on the wing signed again by the World Renowned Fashion Designer Hanae Mori. This well known Japanese Designer is now 94. Hanae Mori had her fashions, mostly silk, from Japan to Paris. She designed this piece to have the drape of that silk across the breast of this butterfly and to add that silk high lite had the Pate De Verre finished off with the high points of that drape polished. If you do not alread...y know the Pate de Verre process is a slow, lower kiln temperature process where color chips are added to mold to slowly bleed color to give it that one of a kind look when lit. This is a slow process that fetches high dollar amounts but when these pieces have a second designer and are in a limited run as this one is it adds to the value and scarcity. This is a very rare piece and is Number 31 (noted on base of Pristine Butterfly and again on Pristine Box). This is Highly Giftable for The Collectors out there. This Piece was done in a Blue Turquoise Color and is about 3 X 4 inches. The Larger Butterfly weighs 26 lb.s and retailed for $13, 350. when these were all introduced by Daum France in May of 2013 for Retail that summer. Everything like I said, is in new condition.
