This is an antique set of five hand carved wooden folk art dog figurines.
They're spotted hounds, one has eyelashes and is curled up sleeping (maybe the mamma?), one looks tired with his head drooping and red tongue hanging out, one is howling with his head up and two are in a playful position with rear ends up.
All five are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or breaks and only expected light scuffing and scratching from age.
The howler measure...s about 3-1/2" tall, the players are about 3-3/4" long, the drooper is about 2-1/2" tall and the sleeper is 3" long.
