Antique c1900 Arts & Crafts Copper Brass Teaset Stamped BF mark Angular handles.
This is a fabulous set dating from circa 1900 . The angular handles are a superb design .
There is a teapot or coffee pot with a hinged lid and angular brass handle , there is a small milk or cream jug and a twin handled sugar bowl . It is a lovely set .
All the pieces have the same mark , this consists of a pair of crossed hooks , or something similar , and the BF letters are set ...either side of the hooks . There is also an impressed number 3 .
This is in good condition . The base of the jug has a small silver mark , this may be an old solder mark I am not sure .The sugar bowl has a small dent in the base . The knop on the tea pot has had a repair it has been glued on .
Ibelieve this set is either British or American .The copper is a good gauge metal and it is a nice set.
