Interesting Estate Find Open Face Pocket Watch in Working Condition. It has a 5" double link 10k gold chain as hallmarked with clip and the chain weighs 6.2 grams. This watch was manufactured by Elgin, from Elgin, Illinois USA. It has the previous owners initials engraved on the back '00 E. M. I surmise that this was from 1900s because of the engravings and also the service records engraved on the back cover of the watch was on later dates. I am not certain if t...he whole pocket watch is solid gold as there are no markings to indicate that but the engravings pierce through the metal with no discoloration and without issues or flaking under magnification. It works perfectly with a nice tic-tact movement. It's up to the bidder to make that judgement but I supplied all the important information with the photographs so you can grade it properly.
