This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a 10x8mm Natural RARE BLACK Opal Turquoise Inlay Intarsia Gemstone. Intarsia is made by precise fitting together of polished gemstones into a single multi gemstone unit. The opal is in the center and has BRIGHT ELECTRIC GREEN/BLUE/PURPLE FIRE. Also the luster of this opal is marvelous. The photos show the different colors that are visible under different lighting conditions. This All Natural Opal has not been treated or color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This is a triplet opal where the brightest genuine & natural solid opal is mounted on backing of onyx and then covered with a protective clear natural quartz crystal cap. We took quite a few photos of this stunning opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. The borders are two different types of turquoise. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The other side is a Natural Persian Turquoise Gemstone. This high quality Persian turquoise is a RICH BLUE COLOR. Persian Turquoise of the highest quality is called Angushtari and has been mined in Iran formerly known as Persia for over 5, 000 years. The luster on this turquoise is superb. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The flip mechanism allows the gemstone bezel frame in the ring to rotate into place in each direction to display either gemstone. The 10k Solid Yellow Gold Setting is classic 1920's Art Deco and has great Deco architectural details. This rotating bezel has hand done milgrain detail around the edge. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the pattern is able to make the decorative edging look like tiny beads. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery. The interior band is stamped "PATENTED" The darker oil slick look in the details and recessed areas is the natural patina of the ring that only comes with age. If you would like us to polish the ring further to remove this patina just let us know, it is no problem at all.
