This lamp basefrom a very nice Oak Park Chicago estate dates to the 1920’s and measures 24”tall with 14” x 8 ¾” base; 22” to the main support ring above the double socketpull chain cluster. It is designed tohold a large shade with center opening from 3 3/8”-4” in diameter and is castzinc alloy with mottled natural gray patina. It boasts open arms and stylized foliate relief designs in the arts andcrafts manner and comes with the original frayed cloth cord.&nbs...p; It works (may not be safe) and has Japanned (brass)Bryantsockets with good patina that click nicely when the chain is pulled.
