Mid-Century Modern Green Oval Brush McCoy Pottery Planter Drip Glaze, Dimpled Do you collect vintage artpottery or planters, including those in the style of Brush McCoy? Then this is the item for you. Up for auction is a charmingoval, green footed planter with a drip glaze on the top portion and a dimpledor hammered effect on the base. Adding to the charm of the piece are thehandles on each end This piece – found at theestate sale of an older area resident, with m...any pieces of old pottery –  measures approximately 3 inches tall, 8 inchesfrom one handle to the next, and roughly 4.5 inches from front to back. Thebase measures 3.5 inches across the bottom.The piece is unmarked on thebottom, but the style resembles that of pieces I have seen listed as Brush McCoy.Mid-Century Modern potterypieces rarely rolled off the production line in perfect condition. I lookedthis piece over and did not see any chips or cracks – only light crazing, asyou would expect of an item of this age. The inside could use a little cleaningto remove the dirt from where the previous owner had a plant. Please checks scans for additionaldetails on condition and please don’t hesitate to ask any questions you mayhave. We have enjoyed collecting over the years and now it’s time to downsize.
