One Random Year/Mint Silver WW2 Coin These escaped meltdown of most all WW2 coins. Some were taken off fallen German soldiers or hoarded...
The horrors of WW2 in one coin: The writing on the edge of the coin reads in German: "The Common Good goes before the Interest of the Individual". The German Nazis minted these "superior metals" in 7 different locations in Germany.
These silver coins serve as a memento of the absolute horror...s of the feared Third Reich. The 2 Reichsmark was only issued in 1936 through 1939. This historic coin pictures Paul von Hindenburg on one side and an eagle holding a wreathed swastika on the reverse. Larger coin, as It is 25mm in diameter and contains silver. It has the "Nazi Eagle” perched on a wreath encircling the most dreaded, feared and disgusting symbol of that time (and arguably of all time), a large Swastika, and on the other is a portrait of Hindenburg, Hitler’s predecessor. Paul Von Hindenburg was regarded by many as Germany’s greatest hero in the First World War. Elected president of Germany in 1925, he unfortunately appointed Adolf Hitler as chancellor in the year 1933. Hindenburg died in 1934, and was honored on these rare Nazi coins, minted between the years 1936 and 1939. Random year from '36-'39 and from any mint mark below:
