Original Description:
A pair of 19th century hand decorated, deep blue and gilt porcelain bolted classical urns, each having 4 oval medallions depicting mythological scenes with cherubs, gods, etc. The medallions are divided by raised elements with tassels, etc. Size: 10" tall. Each has an "AR" Augustus Rex Meissen type mark with a "D" overlay for Dresden circa late 1800's. Both are missing their covers and each has some damage or loss to the raised tassels as shown. Well worth some restoration. Sold AS FOUND, NO RE...TURNS.
