A vintage 50's Swiss made Basis gold plated gent's chronostop type mechanical watch in good used condition and full working order but does gain 2 minutes overnight.The watch has two pushers that stop and start the seconds hand allowing the watch to function as a stop watch and two subsidiary dials that count the seconds and minutes but can't be stopped and started, so the watch doesn't function like a proper chronograph.
Features:Gold plated case with snap down stainless steel back..., majority of the plating has rubbed through.Gold dial with luminous markers a telemetry scale and subsidiary dials.Gold hands with central red sweeping seconds hand.Mechanical movement in working order but does gain 2 minutes overnight.Perspex crystal with edge crack between 1 & 2.Fitted with a new/old stock vintage tan pigskin watch strap.Size: 36 mm. wide.
