Original Description:
Especially nice Republic of Texas Treasury payment for military service, dated December 8, 1837. Made out to "Thomas Costilo" but endorsed on the reverse as "Thomas Costello" which is likely the correct spelling. Worthy of further research. Nice crisp paper with no tears and a couple of almost indiscernible folds. Edges are quite nice. Reverse has endorsement and a large black mark on one edge. Measures 6 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches.Always happy to combine shipping on multiple wins!
