Vintage 48 Star American flag which was the official flag of the USA from 1912 until 1959. There are marks and some stains and flea bite holes on this flag. Made of wool the flag has individual sewn together Red and White stripes. The stars are sewn on. Flag measures appx 114" x 56" and in decent condition for its age and use. This has a heavy double canvas end where it would attach to the rope for the flagpole. This has some soiling and shows some wear. No tears but some holes that I ...tried to show in the pictures!The fabric shows aged color. Could use cleaning . Please see all the photos as they are a large part of the description, Thank you!
