The twenty page Souvenir Book is for Warner Bros. and Vitaphone Talking Picture's "General Crack", directed by Alan Crosland and featuring John Barrymore in his first full-length, all-talking feature. The movie premiered in select theaters in 19...29, and this program was likely distributed to theatre patrons who attended the movie's premiere.The souvenir program is in great, vintage condition, with no missing or torn pages, no writing on any of the pages (with the exception of a name, in ink, on the front cover), and minimal soiling and wear (primarily to the covers). However, there is a small chip along the bottom edge of the front cover; chipping to the paper along the spine; and the center sheet, while present, has separated from the spine.At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage souvenir program books, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible.
