Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1930's modernistic semi nude lady metal statue with perpetual calendar on marble desk set from San Francisco Estate. Made by Greist Manufacturing Co., U.S.A. Circa 1930's. She is exquisite! This beautiful deco lady looks very glamorous with her flowing skirt and classic pose. She has a 1930's hairdo, her eyes are closed, and she is leaning back with one arm up, and the other arm down, holding her skirt out to the side.&...nbsp; This stunning figure is posed on a marble base with a groove to hold pens and a perpetual calendar that has three bakelite knobs on each side to turn the date. The overall measurement of the marble with deco lady is 10" long, 9-1/2" tall, and 4-3/4" wide. The deco lady alone measures 8" tall and 3-1/2" wide. This fabulous deco lady is made of some kind of metal with a bronze finish - a magnet will not stick to her. The base is made of a golden brown marble, and the calendar is made of brass with bakelite knobs. There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find on the deco lady statue, but there is a label on the bottom of the marble which reads "Marble, Onyx, Alabaster, JIM Tirrenia, Italy". The deco lady was made by Greist, and her label is missing. The overall condition is amazingly very good - shows wear and tarnish, and there is a large chip on the back of the base (see picture). Other than that, everything is in great condition, especially considering it is about 90 yrs old. The estimated value was $450.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $125.00. This fabulous deco lady desk set came from an estate in San Francisco, and is quality. It has a great deco look - very modernistic and unique. Pictures don't do it justice. It is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection. Buyer pays shipping. Thank you for bidding.
