A collection of four porcelain dolls from the 1930s, all stamped "Made in Japan".
1) Number one has an all porcelain head, body, arms and legs. She stands 6 3/4" tall and has jointed arms and legs. She has fixed eyes, molded hair with a tied ribbon and painted socks and brown shoes. She wears a later yellow outfit. She is in good patina condition with no chips or major damage and is marked "Made in Japan" on her back.
2) Number two has an all porcelain head, body, arms and l...egs. She stands 5 1/2" tall and has jointed arms (which need tightening) She wears a red painted outfit with a black belt, blue eyes, molded hair with a red head-band. She is in good patina condition with no chips or major damage and is marked "Made in Japan" on her back.
3) Number three has an all porcelain head, body, arms and legs. She stands 4 1/2" tall and has jointed arms. She has blue eyes, molded hair with a gray head-band. She wears a later crocheted outfit. She is in good patina condition with no chips or major damage and is marked "Made in Japan" on her back.
4) Number four is an all porcelain doll, she stands 4" tall and has fixed arms and legs. She has a blue painted dress with a yellow collar and blue painted booties, her left foot has a major chip and missing the toe to the bootie. She has molded hair with a red head-band and she is clutching a puppy dog in her left arm. Her paint has faded over the years but she is in good overall condition and is stamped "Made in Japan" on her back.
