Antique or vintage Blake, Lamb & Co. No. 0 animal trap.Listing is for one trap.You will receive one trap in equal or better condition as the trap pictured.These are the older traps, made in Waterbury, Connecticut.Traps made later were stamped "Blake & Lamb" These older traps have the squared off foot plate.However, the maker marks on all of these traps are very worn, and not very readable."Jump" or Underspring style trap.Metal has superficial rust and dirt as e...xpected for a metal object used extensively outdoors.However, I spoke to the nearly ninety year old trapper from whom I purchased these.He stored these in oil when not in use, thus the metal, and spring strength were preserved.Metal in unexpectedly good condition because of this: these are not deeply pitted as one would expect from a seventy or eighty plus year old trap.Owner initial "B" has been stamped into the foot plate with a punch.Trap sets and springs close as they should.Manufacturer's stamp will show wear, may be hard to read or not readable.Please realize these traps can be dangerous, and take off your finger, or leg of a pet.Questions welcomed.
