This reel was working fine when it was stowed. Now after many years i went to try it, Discovered it won't free spool to cast when the lever is depressed. Everything else is fine and was working fine. Its a nice tight (not worn) reel, I can't get the free spool to engage and would rather sell it to someone that will get it going again.See photo of the bottom side of red button. I can see the plastic has a corner worn/broke off and it looks like a guide pin is... missing. Im not sure if that is the problem? This is my favorite model out of all the older ABU casting reels I have ever tried. If you have one, you most likely know how user friendly it is. Someone get this one going, I am sure you will like it. This reel saw very little use. It was put into a boats console and forgotten about along with the boat that was pushed back / forgotten at the back of my boat yard/pile. Now it deserves a new home.
