Here we have a 1920's Ulysse Nardin pocket watch in a solid 18K yellow gold case. This appears to be a 16s men's pocket watch approximately 46 mm in diameter. The 17j movement runs fine but stops because the mainspring slips (easy repair). Also, the crystal needs to be replaced, the broken glass is removed. Since this will need a little work from your watchmaker, I'm starting this with plenty of room for the repair. I value the melt at approximately 50% of the total weight which is app...roximately 17 dwt. This piece is worth a lot more than melt as is. Good luck.
