1790 2 real from Guatemala. The obverse shows the legend "CAROLUS IV DEI GRATIA" around the border with a right facing portrait of the king, and the date 1790 at bottom below the portrait. The reverse shows the legend " 2R HISPAN ET IND REX NG M", with a crowned shield in the center and a column on each side with a scroll or banner wrapped on each. The piece is a nice natural aged shade of silvers and grays. The wear is typical with no damage or notable marks on the surfaces.
