Here is a fantastic project for any competent watchmaker or jeweler.
This is a solid 18K Yellow Gold Wristwatch Case & Crystal - Vacheron & Constantin - that weighs in at approximately 14.9 grams.Probably circa 1930 .
The 18K Gold case is in excellent vintage estate condition and the beveled crystal has a small chip in one corner (see my photos).
The body of this antique watch case is approximately 36mm long by 22.75mm wide. The length of the watch including the ...lugs is approximately 43.2mm.The outside width of the lugs is approximately 16.5mm and the inside width of the lugs is about 15mm.
This watch will be spectacular when completed!! It bears a wonderful, period carved monogram on the back of the case " BC ".
