DescriptionA fine antique 18th century Sevres porcelain cup (gobelet litron) finely hand painted with panels depicting birds within a gilt border before a maroon ground with fine gilt marbling effect. The cup benefits from borders of floral wreathes alternative with gilt rococo swags. All decoration has been finely painted by hand. This piece was produced in 1781.Size & Weight
Measures 6.7cm 2 5/8" tall.

Sevres interlacing LL mark ...beneath crown, date letters "DD" for 1781. The mark is painted in gilt enamel (part faded)
ConditionGood condition no cracks, no chips, no repairs, no restoration.
Gilt wear to rim.
