The Quinlan Foundation operates in memory of Tim "Skully" Quinlan, who was a doting father and husband, a prototype in the instrument technician industry, a mentor who gave dozens of people their start in the production side of the music business, and a valued citizen of his community. Our vision is to honor his memory by using our resources in the music ind...ustry to turn memorabilia into tangible, hands-on music education for kids. Everything from purchasing instruments for elementary kids to providing music school scholarships to teens and high school seniors pursuing higher education. It is our hope that we will honor him by spreading music to children, the two things he loved most in life.Skully’s resume was extensive after 25 years on the road. Acts with whom he worked include: Danzig, Cry Of Love, Pearl Jam, Veruca Salt, American Hi-Fi, Eve 6, Hootie and the Blowfish, Darius Rucker, MGMT, and Tift Merritt.
