Original Description:
This is an unmarked French hand painted porcelain and gilded bronze or brass hand mirror. It measures 7 1/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide and is artist signed Max as shown. The beveled glass mirror has scratches consistent with it's age and careful use and there is minor wear on the edge at the bottom. Very minor and visible to me only with a loupe. The gilt metal has wear on the handle and the ring at the top is very dark but should polish up. Looking at the applied gold on... the porcelain I can see minor loss. Again hard to see without a loupe. I would still consider the condition to be very good/excellent with no other flaws that I can see.
