Vintage Chinese Cherry Wood and Brass with Jade Medallion Jewelry Box. Measures 7" x 4 3/4" x 3". Box looks to be hand carved. Jade has a bamboo and Leaf design. CHINA is indented into the bottom in small letters by a metal stamp impression. The brass metal trinket in the front; I don't know what it is, but it was in the box and seems to belong with it. No significant defects in box.
According to family: This box belonged to my great a...unt who she died in 1913. It has been in stored a cedar chest until now. My Aunt is closing down her house and I am helping her.
