This listing is for a REWIRED chain hangingceiling light fixture from the 1910's / 1920'swith satin milk glass shade.
It is a high quality silverplate fixture.Even the heavy plated chain is made of brass.
This fixture has been rewiredwith new cloth covered wire, and theoriginal socket has been fittedwith a new insulating shell.
The finish is very intact for its age and showsonly minimal tarnish, scratching, and dings. The UNO shade fitter ...appears to be nickel plated, and the rest is all original silver-plate.
The fitter ring has a patent date of 1912, and the patent date inside the socket is 1914, so I'm giving an approximate date of 1910s-1920s.
It takes any standard bulb of up to 75 watts. If more brightness is required, use a LED bulbs.
Approximate Dimensions;-Total drop from ceiling is about 29-1/2", and can be shortened to about 18-1/2"(and nearly any length between)by removing chain links to give more head room.(I can do this for you if you let me knowimmediately after purchase).
