Thisrug or small carpet is unusual in that it has a regular pattern ofapplied round steel sequins sewn across the surface (seephoto??? for the effect these have in direct sunlight). These are certainly original to the carpet but I have never seen onelike it before. I have no idea as to where the carpet was made.
