This vintage Salvador Dali framed etching titled “Cervantes” is in very good condition with no holes, tears, or stains. It is in an age appropriate mid-century modern frame that is dark brown stained walnut wood with a silver toned metal trim band on the face of the frame, encircling the sight of the artpiece. There is some slight scuffing to the silver toned metal, as shown in the photographs. As indicated on the certificate of authenticity (COA) that is affixed to the back of the... piece, this etching of the author Cervantes, best known for his novel Don Quixote, is from Salvador Dali’s "Spanish Immortal" series. The other "Immortals" in the series are Don Quixote, El Cid, El Greco, and Velazquez. The frame measures 15 1/4” tall and 12 1/4” wide. The etching's reveal, or sight, which is matted in an ivory mat, measures 8” by 6”. No water stains, tears, or damage to the art!
