Hello, offering for auction is a rare antique WWII German Junghans cal. 29a/II Split time military stopwatch. A Jungnahs Kriegsmarine Stopwatch or also called Torpedo/Artillery-stoppuhr.These kinds of stopwatches were mostly used on Destroyers and U-Boots, used to calculate the distance that a torpedo had run before it detonated or the time between the ship’s artillery firing and the impact at target. This allowed them to adjust the time setting of these torpedoes / projectile’s.Th...is is a version with 11 jewels, this is a 60 sec.stopwatch, It Has 1/10th. sec sweep, and can count with the small seconds to 30 minutes.The stop watch in chrome nickel case with acrylic crystal. Manual hand winding with two buttons stopwatch. Featuring 11 ruby jewels. Fully working Measures: 53mm. diameter without crown.
