For your consideration is this museum quality, hardstone cameo of Psyche. The soft white background, and crisp white carving is delicate and light. The showstopper here is the absolutely amazing, and one of a kind mount that is gilt gold over silver. The mount provides a intricate border of leaves, grapes, and amazing birds, with antique garnets scattered throughout. OMG, it just doesn't get better than this! There is a bale to wear this lovely cameo as a pendant. The piece measures approx. 2.5"...x 2", and is in excellent condition. There is the tiniest flea bite to the right side of the cameo.So tiny you probably wouldn't have noticed it, but mentioned for detail purposed. You will not find another one like this!
