Here is a fascinating example of old Canadian political memorabilia from the now defunct Social Credit party. The matchbook features Robert N Thompson on the front and the message Go Social Credit on the back. Inside the matchbook are some promises from the party. Matches made by Strike-Rite. Also included is an interesting booklet talking about the SoCred platform with a series of cartoons featuring Barmy the Banker. Excellent condition. About the size of a checkbook, which is probabl...y intentional. These pieces are from the 1950s.
