A guaranteed original hand enameled Glass mug with applied handle. The mug has a purple tint applied to the upper rim, this is surface applied not infused within the glass. A gently paneled surface with hand enameling in the classic ‘Mary Gregory’ style and with typical motif of a young girl. Nice flesh tones to face and arm, the hair tinted brown, otherwise a uniform snowy white enameling.The mug presents in excellent condition a small localised, in manufacture imperfection to th...e reverse side of the mug, guaranteed NOT damage at all- see the pics, this is where a stray piece of white enamel has fused to the glass and been removed by the maker, resulting in a small 'pock' mark with a little enamel remaining to one side.The mug stands 13.5cm, weight 220 Grams.We have listed several other pieces of jewellery, silver, decorative art and collectables.
