Beautiful Limoges demitasse cup in excellent condition. It was hand painted by Martial Redon sometime between 1891 and 1896, according to the mark on the cup's bottom. In fact, this cup has two marks--one in red indicates the manufacturer, Elite Works, and one in green that indicates M. Redon was the artist who hand painted the cup in a white rose pattern. The design is highlighted with gold leaf on the cup's handle and around its rim.
The cup itself features four slight indentation...s around the top that give it a somewhat fluted appearance. Around the bottom it has a raised wave pattern in low relief.
