Offered for sale is a Gillinder & Sons Clear Glass Frosted Lion Head Compote with Lid in excellent condition, no chips, scratches or cracks. This compote has a frosted Lion's head on top along with three frosted Lion's head on the stem. The frosted base is scalloped. The center of the compote measures approx 8" in diameter and the top cover has beading around the bottom that snugly fits the lower compote. It measures approximately 11 1/2" tall to the top of the li...d. Great addition to any collection. Shipping including insurance via U.S. Priority Mail to be paid by buyer. The cost of insurance has been added as a handling fee since the ebay calculator no longer has an insurance option. It is much safer for both buyer and seller for all items to be shipped insured.
