Main DescriptionAn exceptional 0.96 carat sapphire and 0.64 carat diamond, 15 carat yellow gold and 15 carat white gold set 'dog' brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections.This exceptional antique dog brooch has been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold ...with a 15 ct white gold setting.The brooch is ornamented with a feature hand panted essex crystal reverse intaglio, depicting a 'Brussels Griffon' dog.The reverse intaglio is collet set within a plain and unembellished frame.The central arrangement is surrounded eight individually collet set round mixed cut sapphires, displayed alternately between eight millegrain decorated, marquise shaped 15 ct white gold settings.Each marquise shaped setting is embellished with three pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.This stunning antique Victorian dog brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 ct gold.The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
