This is a very beautiful and very old serving bowl made in England by Shelley. It is part of the Cloisello ware line and this is the large serving bowl measuring just over 9 inches across. Done in a very intricate cobalt blue pattern the bowl is almost completely covered in color. Absolutely gorgeous pattern. It is in good antique condition, there is a notable chip on the rim, shallow but perhaps a quarter inch long. There is some wear on the pattern as well, mostly around the rim but ...there are no large cracks and the bowl is sound.
