Antique/vintage Caramel 1960s Steiff Teddy Bear, EAN 5315, 02 6in GUC

With regret, I am downsizing my teddy bear collection. I have many different types, which I will be listing in the coming weeks (or months). For now, I will only list them once to see if anyone is interested. If not, I get to keep them (although I have recently relisted some of them). :0) I live in a smoke-free home, but I do have cats who are barred from the bear room(!).
Please meet Cooper, an antique/vintage caramel Steiff... Original Teddy bear from Germany!! He has no I.D., but he's guaranteed Steiff. His EAN would be 5315, 02, and was made somewhere between 1951 and 1966. His eyes are NOT glass, so I'm presuming he's from the 1960's. He is made of the caramel mohair, and has most of his mohair loss on his face and ears, with one or two tiny losses here and there (which is why I'm starting him at a low price), but is in overall good used condition and cute. He is five-way jointed. I've given him a little red and white polka dotted ribbon to wear. Cooper is 6 inches tall and weighs 3 ounces. Could he be the one for you??? He is looking for a home where he can learn how to drive your stickshift and terrify all your bears on the road. Zoom, whoosh! :0)

*****PLEASE NOTE: In case you don't know, depending on where you live, ebay is now collecting taxes in some states. When I send you an invoice or if you just pay for your item, I am unaware if you are being charged taxes or at what tax rate, as I am NOT the one collecting them. Sadly, I may have lost a good customer over this, so I am including this note in my listings so there's no confusion. So far, I only know about New Jersey (where I live) and New York (where the buyer who was so upset about this lives) are charging taxes. I'm sure there are other states as well. :0(
A quick note about shipping: Don't you hate it when you're overcharged by a seller on shipping???? A gazillion dollars to cross the pond or go across the country. It's ridiculous. I am striving to be accurate in my listing, but sometimes ebay's calculator is way off (especially for those outside the U.S.). When i calculate shipping, I add in extra weight for the box. If you're interested in an item outside the U.S., don't be scared by what the calculator is telling you. Please contact me and I'll find out exactly what it would cost to post to your country and make a note in the listing. I'll never overcharge you. If I quote you a number and i can get it to you cheaper, I'll immediately refund the difference.
