Agatha Talbret is made from a very old Friendship or Signature Quilt (dated 1936 on another piece). Both sides are from the same quilt. Take a look with the close up tool, some skilled craft person pieced and hand knotted this quilt, initially upcycling flour sack material into clothing, then clothing into a quilt. Now it gets one more breath of life upcycled again into this lovely pillow. The original batting between the layers, was a thin, wool bedspread.  ...; Please keep in mind that old quilts and bedspreads may have some fraying, repairs or age spots, it only shows how much it was loved! I have to admit I get quite attached to my vintage stuffed animals, so please give her a good home! The bedspread used was freshly cleaned and from a smoke free home. The quilted material is all cotton and stuffed with new fiberfill, size is @ 11 inches tall x 12 inches wide. So lovely, would go great on a bed or sofa, even a porch swing! Makes a great heirloom baby or nursery gift!
Buy American and Upcycle! I make everything I sell myself, plus I make my own patterns and templates. The bedspread used is believed to be American made fabric when we actually manufactured textiles right here at home. Why buy imported fabrics, quilts and toys from other countries, when our own American crafters can produce beautiful items at reasonable prices? Thanks for looking!
