This is a very large very unique Mid-century Modern ice bucket and/or wine chiller. This very stylish piece is wrapped in leather and has a copper band around the center that features a beautiful relief design. This ice bucket is made by Kromex. USA, circa 1950-60s. Unsure if the material is actual leather and not faux but it sure feels and looks like real leather. The handle is also leather and lays down to the side of the bucket when not using to carry. Measures 15" to top of handle ...and 8" in diameter, 10" to top of bucket, 6 7/8" opening, and 8 1/4" deep. Weight 2 lbs. 3 oz. The condition is excellent except for a tiny fleabite on the lid finial which is made of plastic and looks more like a small nick. It is so small, you really have to look for it but has been noted. There are no cracks, scratches or other issues. This is a fabulous elegant piece for your mid-century modern inspired bar cart and/or a wonderful conversational piece to chill a bottle of wine on the guest dinner table.
