This clear acrylic pyramid encases a Scottish Rite 14th Degree Ring with the Hebrew letter Yod . These rings were once given to any Mason who received his 14th Degree and is t he official ring of the 14th degree Scottish Rite Mason. The practice has been discontinued due to the price of gold. NOTE: I do not see a marking to indicate 10k or 14k. Please assume this is a replica of the gold rings once given.The ring is a plain band and measures approx. 5/16" wide. The inside of the ring b...ears the inscription "virtus junxit mors non separabit", which translates from the Latin to English as; "Whom virtue unites, death will not separate" or "What virtue has joined together, death shall not separate", depending on the source.The Lucite equilateral triangle pyramid stands 2 3/4" tall on a 2 5/8" square base. It is in excellent condition, with very sharp edges and no noticeable scratches.Great gift for your favorite mason.
