*** ************************** ****Up for sale here is a rare labeled western whiskey bottle from Los Angeles, California. This bottle was found many years ago within an old house crawl space in Santa Ana. The bottle and original paper label is excellent as seen here. It is early ABM (machine made), and would date from about 1905 to 1914. The old clear glass has a slight sun co...lored purple cast to it. The old label has no fading or discoloration. *The colorful paper label reads (advertises) ~ "Mike LYMAN'S / Private Stock / 100 proof / Kentucky Straight / Bourbon Whiskey / Bottled in Bond / Under Supervision U.S. Government / Bottled For / Mike Lyman / Los Angeles, Calif." Just up from the base it is embossed ~ "Net Contents Full Qt". The base is plain. On the lower reverse side it reads ~ "P.C.G.W. 5". Bottle was made at the Pacific Coast Glass works during this pre pro time. This handsomely labeled whiskey from the west measures 11 1/2 inches tall, and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. You will be pleased with this rare labeled cylindrical quart example, from southern California.
