Here's an early pontiled blackglass cylinder whiskey or liquor bottle from the 1800-1830 era.....no embossing.....Free blown or blown in dip mold, so there are no mold seams...jagged open pontil scar pushed up deeply into sunken bottom.....applied collar....dark olive green blackglass.....11 1/8"tall x 3"round....Sparkling near mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A nice clean bottle with no haze.....Finest possible example of this early pontiled liquor bottle! ........
