COBALT BLUE UNION GLASS WORKS PHILADELPHIA IRON PONTIL SODA BOTTLE. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Up for bid is this co alt blue, iron pontiled, Union Glass works reverse blank slug plate soda bottle. Bottle measures 7 3/8” inches tall by 2 1/2” inches across the base and is embossed Union Glass Works Phila. with rectangle blank slug plate on the reverse. Bottle has a great iron pontil scar on the base with residue still intact. Bottle has case wear and scra...tches and stain but would respond well to a cleaning should the winning bidder choose to do so. There is a black residue inside the bottle that you can see in the first photo and I have not tried soaking it out. I see no major chips or cracks except for a small fish eye bruise about the size of a bb at the base. I have pointed at it with a ball point pen in picture 6.
