Antique Ironstone Pharmacy 'Philip Harris & Co' Birmingham Ointment pot
Very rare Victorian white ironstone lidded pharmacy/drug jar, decorated on one side with scrolling inky black transfer advertising Philip Harris & Co Ltd, Birmingham, a chemistry and pharmaceutical supplier tracing back to 1817. I have only seen a handful of these being sold so I do believe that this is a rather pot.
Condition:
Some attractive staining and light wear/glaze cra...zing, there is damage to the rim of the pot (please refer to photos) but this is not visible when the lid is on. The lid has some pitted nibbles and again slight crazing but is insignificant.Please study the photos carefully as these form a part of the description

9.5cm diameter (4.7”)12.5cm tall (6.25”)
Overall this is wonderful pharmacist ointment pot that would make a wonderful addition to a collection or just on its own.
